Bridge

       The bridge connects two teeth, which act as ”pillars”. We unmake the tooth deficiency between them with the so-called ”bridge”. Thence the pillar teeth must be abraded and crowned. The prosthesis is mounted to the crowns. The bridge itself is produced in a modern dental laboratory, usually made of metal – or gold alloy.
    

       The visible parts are of course are covered with plastic or porcelain. The artificial teeth made by this method can’t be distinguished from the natural ones. Bridges and crowns are available in various variations and from different raw materials. We courteously help you to find the most appropiate solution.


  Partial prosthesis

       We call the removable prosthesis as partial prosthesis. Besides the biting function and the faculty of speech we lay special emphasis on the aesthetic appearance. A partial prosthesis consists of artificial teeth, which are mounted onto a prosthesis base. The metal arc (metal plate) and catch ensure stability. In contrast with the bridge in case of the partial prosthesis the extension is possible in case of further tooth loss in most cases.
    

       Before the removal of the original tooth an instructional imprint is created, which helps the dental technician to make the prosthesis. This can be suited to the old prosthesis. Contrary to the full prothesis the front part of the palate is kept free so the finer gustation remains.


    Crown-work

       When a tooth can’t be restored by cementing, inlay or partial crown-work, crown is required. By crown we mean the tooth prosthesis made of metal and porcelain covering the abraded, damaged tooth surface ringwise, which does not differ from the natural teeth regarding to its shape, colour and size. The crown is made by the dental technician after taking the tooth imprint.
    

       We mount the finished crown the next time with a special sticking cement. We do the same in case of implantation, but in this case the lost tooth is replaced by an implant.
